This view of the 1856 Bank Building is dated August, 1889. Only the Granite State News and the Bank are noted by signs, although the store on the left is still being run by Charles H. Hersey. Other rooms appear to be rented. Railroad Ave. is on the left and boxcars are on the tracks. The Glendon House, built in 1872, is on the right (now the site of the Post Office).
