Wolfeboro Historical Society Photograph Archive Business

Fred Richardson was born in 1893 and served in World War I. In the 1970's & 1980's, he opened Freddy's Umbrella Stand (aka Fred's Flower & Vegetable Stand) on North Main St. Photo was found in an envelope dated July 30, 1970, by local photographer Eleanor Horn, and this, or the next photo, was apparently used in the Union Leader. The girl could be his daughter, Carra. Fred died in 1993 at the age of 100 years.
