Bickford & Young delivery wagon in front of Nathaniel Rogers Homestead (now the Wolfeboro Inn) on North Main St. by Sewall Rd., c. 1900. Frank Connor is the driver. Delivery businesses were known as teamsters. Bickford & Young first operated at a location on Railroad Ave., later on Factory St. (now Lehner St.). They dealt in wood, coal, hay, lime, ice, sand, cement, brick, freight, baggage, and later, fuel oil.
