First Christian Church, located on North Main Street. The church was established on January 3, 1812, at the farmhouse of Jacob Folsom at Goose Corner (the area of North Main Street and Waumbek Road). A Church building was erected in 1838. As the population and activites shifted toward downtown Wolfeboro, a decision to relocate the Church was made. In 1858, the building was dismantled, and the lumber was used to build the new Church.
