View from the bridge toward South Main St., c. 1910. On the left are the buildings now known as the Wool Corner, Black's Paper Store, the Bank Building, and, at the fenced in area, the grounds of the Hobbs-Is-Inn, now the site of the Post Office. The building known as the Wool Corner displays the original Greek Revival style, with two stories of pillars. Those were removed in an extensive remodel in 1925 when the front was extended. On the right is the Peavey Block, now the Avery Block. Note the early cars on the right.
