Wolfeboro Historical Society Photograph Archive Hotels and Resorts

Glen Cottage in 1905 was still owned by Levi Horne, the original owner (1870's until sold in 1926). Originally holding about 50 guests, the Annex on the right was added in the late 1890's to provide additional rooms. Torn down in 1961, the location was the site vacated by the Citizen's Bank in 2018. This image was made into a popular postcard.
