Wolfeboro Historical Society Photograph Archive Hotels and Resorts

The Ann Inn, c. 1920's, stands in the center of downtown Wolfeboro, on the site which is now Cate and Town Parks. The store on the right is now a pet supply store. Originally a residence built in 1847, it became Horn's on the Lake in 1868, Belvue House in the 1880's, the Lake Shore House (or Inn) in 1892 and the Ann Inn in 1921. The hotel was razed in 1940, and a gas station was built there.
