Views from High Places

These views show how much the Town of Wolfeboro has changed over the years. Many buildings have been torn down or sold and relocated (a sign of Yankee thrift), some have burned, and previously open farm fields have been become filled in with houses and trees (This is most obvious when people ask "Why is my road called Lakeview St. when I can't see the Lake"). Major changes appear in the land as well, with the former Back Bay filled in to become Foss Field and the Dockside area filled in as well.

The Wolfeboro Historical Society welcomes the donation of local photographs from the early days, as well as any details that may be found in ancestors attics.
