View from Hobbs-Is-Inn, c. 1900, looking across Back Bay to Clow's Sawmill. Wolfeboro RR Station spire is on the right. Sawn lumber stacks are drying on the right, and logs in the Bay are waiting to be processed. The Sawmill buildings were later replaced by Hampshire Pewter, and the lumber area became the Back Bay business complex.
