This is a work crew digging the foundation for the Libby Museum on North Main St., a well-known nature & history museum, open seasonally. The museum was founded in 1912 by Dr. Henry F. Libby, a dentist in Massachusetts who summered in Tuftonboro & Wolfeboro. The photo dates to 1910. The crew, L-R, is Frank Bradley, H. Sleeper, Isaac Burke, Fred Gould, Gilbert Welch, John Gould, Joe King, unknown, Charles Libby, J. C. Blake, & George W. Hersey.
