Wolfeboro Historical Society Photograph Archive Houses North Main St Houses

Hard to believe, but the large Carroll D. Piper house, built c. 1873, is being relocated in one piece in 1956. After being moved toward the lakefront, a Gulf gas station was built adjacent to North Main St. in 1957, then was replaced by the Yum Yum Bakery in 1977.
