The Meader homestead on North Main St. near Forest Rd. was settlers farm No. 4. purchased by Ebenezer Meader about 1770. This photo inside their sap house is c. 1880. This is a tasting area, indicating they sold maple syrup directly from the farm, similar to many local producers today,
