Wolfeboro Historical Society Photograph Archive Houses South Main St Houses

This photo is marked Dudley Pike Tavern, and that he was the son of Mary (Cotton) Pike and grandson of Col. Tom Cotton. Dudley Pike is not in our reference books. The only note of a related tavern is James Pike, who had a tavern near the Bank Building in the 1830's, but it isn't known if that building existed when this photo was taken (it appears to be 1940'ish).
