Awaiting their turn to enter the parade, the chaise, horse and woman are all decked out. Driver Sarah Meader actually looks happy, somewhat rare on old photos. There are bells on the reins and flowers on the wheels and wagon. This is an elegant Sunday wagon, with kerosene lanterns on the sides, and a surrey top that flips up for sun or rain protection.
