The tin container between the candle molds in the upper left was for lamp oil. Electricity came to Wolfeboro in 1897 when a generator was installed near the S. W. Clow and Company saw mill. By 1937 all but a handful of outlying houses had electricity. The stein is from Germany with a pewter top. The pitcher on the right is from the from the Sleepy Eye Milling Company from Sleepy Eye, Minnesota made to promote the company's flour in the early 1900.
