Wolfeboro Historical Society Museum Tours Schoolhouse Tour

Model of what the Governor John Wentworth mansion might have looked like. This house was built by the last royal governor of New Hampshire around 1770 and was destroyed by fire around 1820. You can visit the site of the mansion just off Rt. 109 on the way to Brookfield. The model was made by George Casebolt.
