Gov. Endicott at the Weirs. This 100 foot long steamer was built at Lakeport in 1905 and could hold 300 passengers. Often seen at Wolfeboro docks, the boat was used to transport Brewster Academy students to athletic events around the lake, and also used to promote shopping in Laconia. Wolfeboro passengers would go to Lakeport and take a train to Laconia. There were some regular routes as well as varied excursions. The boat was dismantled about 1930.
