This is Greenleaf B. Clark's sawmill on Clark Rd., c. 1910. He is the man on the right in the white hat. Exact location isn't known. Clark was an entrepreneur, bought, sold, moved and rented houses, and involved in building projects all over town. He donated his homestead and nearby land to the Town in 1917; this became the basis of the Clark Museum Complex, managed by the Wolfeboro Historical Society. Clark was listed as the wealthiest man in the Town in the 1919 Inventory.
