C. F. Piper Men's Clothing Store, c. 1892. Location is on North Main St., lakeside, just past the bridge which is on the left with boys sitting on the railing. The original Goodwin block is on the left, and the Boston & Maine Railroad Wharf building is in the background; both burned down in 1899. The Piper store was sold to C. A. Morrison in 1893 and still exists today.
