These buildings are on Railroad Ave. behind the Bank Block, March 12, 1951. On the left building are signs for Jerry L. Thayer, attorney; Wm. Britton Insurance Agency; Gray Brothers Grocery & delicatessen; & Brocky's Appliances (which also offered bus tickets and a taxi stop). The building on the right housed; Barry's Market (Kent's IGA Market, successor; both names were used simultaneously); Walter Thompson's shoe repair; Lake Shore Garage; and Bennet & Berry accountants. The left building burned down on Jan. 1, 1958 and was rebuilt.
