William Rogers Meat Market was on South Main St. on the lake side of the street, June 1903. The faded sign above reads "John Rogers", a former occupant as a shoemaker, boot & shoe dealer. At one time, this store was the licensed town depot for the sale of bottled alcoholic beverages. The site was later Hall's Pharmacy for many years, located between the Avery Block and Town & Cate Parks.
