Three men at the downtown bridge looking toward South Main St., c. 1894. The building is the 3-story Goodwin Block, which burned down in 1899. The Charles W. Hicks Drug Store went out of business in 1895. The next store was Sylvester A. Edgerly's Shoe & Boot Store, which was later gutted in the 1899 fire. The tower of Brewster Memorial Hall (Town Hall), built in 1890, is in the background, partially blocked by the store sign.
