This is the original location of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in the 1920's, on Sewall Road, where the rear of the Wolfeboro Inn is today. The Church, painted forest green much of the time, was built on land given by George A. Carpenter in 1911, and was used until the new church was occupied on South Main St. in the 1940's. The Sewall Road building was used as Natalie's Guest House from 1950 into the early 1960's.
