Wolfeboro Historical Society Photograph Archive General Areas Forest Road Area

Carry Beach, Sept. 12, 1907. At this time, Forest Road ran right along the waterfront. It enters from the north in the center of the photo and passes south to Wolfeboro Neck just to the right of the rock. The road was finally relocated away from the beach in 1966!
