Staff of Wolfeboro Laundry on Center St. at Grove St., Wolfeboro Falls, c. 1930's. Harry E. Libby, owner, is in the suit and tie on the left. The building dates to 1925, replacing the previous building that was demolished in a 1924 boiler explosion. In 1936, the staff level was reported as 16 in the winter and 40 in the summer. The delivery truck bears the firm's motto, Libby Laundered Linen Lasts Longest. This commercial laundry operated until 1967.
