This is an artist's sketch, likely made into a postcard in the early 1900's. The view is from South Main St. looking toward downtown. The building on the left is the Belvue House, now the site of Cate & Town Park. In the center are the buildings near the present Black's Paper Store, and the Durgin Block cupola is in the background.
