The Ann Inn, c. 1920's, stands in the center of downtown Wolfeboro, on the site which is now Cate and Town Parks. This is the front view on South Main St., a bit of the lake shows on the right. Originally a residence built in 1847, it became Horn's on the Lake in 1868, Belvue House in the 1880's, the Lake Shore House (or Inn) in 1892 and the Ann Inn in 1921. The hotel was razed in 1940, and a gas station was built there..
