Wolfeboro Historical Society Photograph Archive Houses North Main St Houses

The Meader homestead on North Main St. near Forest Rd. was settlers farm No. 4. purchased by Ebenezer Meader about 1770. This photo shows the second barn on the property, built after the firest barn burned down on Sept. 30, 1902. This barn also burned down, on Sept. 8 1919. The location is now Sky Ridge Farms.
