Emerly Alice Brown Hersey. She married Fred E. Hersey who, with his brother Frank, owned and operated "The Mills" in Wolfeboro Falls. Their house was behind the Pickering House, having been relocated from South Main St. in 1923 to make room for the Carpenter School.
