Boston and Maine locomotive #1468 sits right in the middle of Railroad Avenue while the crew takes a lunch break. The year is 1940. The tracks once went from Railroad Avenue across Main St., down the alley on the right side of the Avery Block to the Lake Station (now the site of the dockside restaurant).
