View from Hobbs-Is-Inn, now the site of the Post Office. See caption below photo. The water then known as Front Bay is called Back Bay today. The original Back Bay was filled in and became Foss Field. Note the 4 identical buildings just below the First Christian Church on the upper left. These are on the steep Libby Street, all owned by Dr. Henry Libby (founder of the Libby Museum).
