View from the Durgin Block looking south. On the right is the one-story building which replaced the former Goodwin Block building which burned in 1899. The Peavey Block is adjacent to it, and above the Peavey Block is the 100' long Samuel Avery Barn. On the left is the Wool Corner, the Bank Building and Town Hall. On the far right is Brewster Free Academy, which burned in Nov. 2, 1903. On the left and right, railroad cars are on Railroad Ave. and the dockside wharf. C. 1900.
